The crime is caught on video, but the detectives must work through a long night to identify the victim's masked attacker. Then, in "Along Came a Killer," after three victims are gunned down in what normally is a quiet neighborhood in the Atlanta suburbs, police initially are baffled as to whether the murders are connected to one another.

Even more dauntingly, Marty has to return to his own time and save the life of Doc Brown.
